Greenr Sustainability Accelerator

The Greenr Sustainability Accelerator Program, a TechnoServe initiative, supported by the IKEA Foundation and Visa Foundation is one of the largest sustainability accelerators, nurturing high-growth businesses disrupting the Environment Action space. A 3-year program, it aims to onboard approximately 350+ green startups or green small and growing businesses (SGBs), across three cohorts. This equity-free accelerator provides tailored business advice and mentoring to high-growth businesses with products and services that positively impact the environment.The program assists in identifying and implementing strategies to develop strong revenue models and enterprises with the most promising Environment Action Entrepreneurs. It supports sustainable startups dedicated to driving environmental action by providing capacity building, business modelling, GTM strategy development, access to finance, and fundraising. The program is divided into 3 tracks: Growth (lasts for up to 21 months), Boost (12 months) and Elevate (women-led startups with a duration of 12 months). Cohort 1, which recently graduated, was launched in June 2023 and comprised 130+ startups from 53 cities across India, 54% women-led businesses. Cohort 2, which kicked off in July 2024 comprises 150+ businesses based out of 70 cities in India with 75% being women-led startups.Growth and Boost cohorts are supported by the IKEA Foundation; the sector focus is Waste, Food & Forestry and Textiles while the Elevate cohort is supported by the VISA Foundation, sector agnostic but 100% of participating green startups need to be women-led.
